Dawit Adera is a passionate cinematographer with extensive industry experience, training, and proven success in cinematography. His drive comes from a passion to tell meaningful human stories, which he has been pursuing since childhood. He is a graduate of Columbia College Hollywood with a BFA and American Film Institute MFA in Cinematography and has worked on different international and local narrative and documentary films, both in the US and Africa. He is adept in overseeing all aspects of film production, including camera lens choices, camera manipulation, lighting choices, set design, and various technological matters that affect the overall visual outcome in the film. Dawit is one of the few cinematographers that has experience with the unreal engine LED wall technology at Amazon studio. He also has experience working on different Digital analog cameras including 35mm, 16mm, Large Format and all kinds of Digital cinema cameras.

Notably, Dawit is among the select few cinematographers with hands-on experience utilizing Unreal Engine LED wall technology at Amazon Studios. Additionally, he possesses expertise in working with various digital and analog cameras.
